The next level of developmental work at Naked Angels is
1st Mondays. On the first Monday of each month, a new play is given its first public reading. As with
Tuesdays@9, audiences are invited to attend free of charge and playwrights are able to hear their work performed live. Once a new play is selected, Naked Angels provides a space, professional director, cast, and brief rehearsal, bringing the play to life for the author and audience alike. After each reading, the playwright has the opportunity to hear responses in an informal discussion. A simple yet vital program,
