To submit material to
Tuesdays@9, please bring a hard copy to Tuesdays, keeping in mind the following guidelines:
PLAYS AND SCREENPLAYS: A maximum of 10 pages will be considered, 12-point font, reasonably formatted.
FICTION, ESSAYS, MONOLOGUES, POETRY, ETC: A maximum of 5 pages will be considered, 12-point font, at least 1.5 line spacing.
Please include contact information (phone number and e-mail address). If your submission is selected, we will contact you -- we promise. Please do not contact us. Also,
Tuesdays@9 is a facilitating program, not a dramaturgical one; sorry- we cannot give feedback.
Once your work is selected and you are informed that you will be read, just show up with enough copies for all the characters to be read (include a copy for stage directions!) and cast your work on the spot.
Joe and Stephanie (in NY) or
Kathleen and Larry (in LA) will help. If you want to bring some actors down you are welcome to do that but please remember that Tuesdays is not interested in rehearsed or prepared pieces. The name of the game is spontaneity and we love keeping it that way.
